Press

Alt + D

simultaneously to erase all the current

codes for the chosen device.

This will delete all the commands from the “

DCU

Function Description” column.

Now simultaneously press

Alt + C

to copy all new

codes to the

RANIR

card. In

some cases, the “

DCU

Function Description” column may still appear blank. This does

not necessarily mean that there are no commands there. The commands that you just

copied may be stored under higher numbers, beyond the point that is visible on the

screen. To check that the commands were correctly copied, use the

Page Down

key to

scroll through the column. Note that all resources such as

VCR

-controlled laser

disc players, etc., start at “1.” The sole exception is classroom monitors, which start at

“73.”

Press

Esc

to exit the dialog box. After you have exited, the cursor should remain in the

“

DCU

IRS”

menu.

Move the cursor to so that the “Program” option is highlighted as in Figure 9, then

press

Enter
