For portable stereo recording, the MMA6000

is a high quality miniature microphone ampli

-

fier and power supply designed for use with

all DPA miniature microphones. It offers a

higher sound quality than the microphone

input on most portable devices, providing the

assurance that the best possible signal path is

being used in any remote situation.

For professional and hobby recording appli

-

cations in the field, on stage or at home the

MMA6000 is an indispensable tool. With the

supplied removable clip, it is easy to mount on a

belt, pocket or strap. A common low cut switch-

in filter for both channels, provides a 12 dB/

octave, 100 Hz low cut. This unit is a front-end

device that provides two independent identical

channels in one rugged box. The gain settings

are individual for each channel and the ampli

-

fier can be operated by either an internal 9 V

battery or optionally an external 12 to 30 V DC

power supply. (Battery and power supply unit

not included).

Special cables are available for connection to

recording medias such as MiniDisc, DAT, PC, DV

Camera or similar.
