The SMK4061 Stereo Microphone Kit is an

excellent solution for stereo recording applica

-

tions with a matched pair of DPA 4061 miniature

microphones.

The SMK4061 comprises two 4061 omnidirec

-

tional microphones, two phantom/XLR adapters

and distinctive accessories for mounting the

microphones wherever desired on a wide variety

of surfaces including music stands, instruments,

concert walls, stage floors and piano lids.

The 4061 microphone offers a clean and trans

-

parent sound quality with lots of headroom. It

has an outstandingly low noise floor of 26 dB(A)

re. 20 µPa and an impressive sensitivity of 6 mV/

Pa. When powered correctly, the microphone can

handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL

before clipping occurs.

For maximum versatility, the DPA adapter

system allows the use of the 4061 with most

professional wireless systems. The two-channel

MMA6000 Miniature Microphone Amplifier can

be used directly via the standard fitted MicroDot

connector, providing a dedicated high quality

audio chain for portable recording.
