Short note: The thebenHTS presence detector “compact passimo KNX”

convinces with its precise vertical capture limit below the presence detector. The

typical application areas are entries of warehouse passages and corridors where

only those people must be detected who enter the passage or the corridor. After

entering the warehouse passage/corridor a length of up to 15 m is captured with

the usual accurate precision. Longer passages/corridors can be extended by a

length of up to 30 m using the proven compact passage KNX as slave. Limiting

the capture width to 4 meters prevents that people in the neighbouring passage

are detected.

Short note: With the WEC 16M 080B KNX, is it now possible to control windows

exactly, and knowing their precise position at all times. This enables KNX systems

to utilise windows for natural ventilation indoor climate regulation. The Motor-

Controller operates up to eight Windowmaster 24V DC chain actuators with Motor-

Link ™. The windows are operated individually through the 2 KNX modules each

with four outputs. The Motor-Controller enables the KNX system to know and

control, at all times, the exact position of each window. Moreover, two speeds for

automatic and manual mode can be programmed, as can exact motor to motor

synchronisation for up to four motors on each window.
